Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: $33-$34/hour
Duration: 3 Months

Position Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic III plays a critical role in leading and performing advanced preventative and corrective maintenance. This includes installation fabrication repair and servicing of mechanical electrical and electronic systems equipment and industrial machinery (e.g. pneumatic hydraulic plumbing fabrication motors CNC/PLC control systems).

The successful candidate will also plan and coordinate equipment improvements ensuring compliance with safety programs such as LOTO Arc Flash prevention and Total Productive Maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance (50%)

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and unscheduled servicing or repairs on production equipment and building systems.

Equipment Improvements (40%)

  • Plan and coordinate safety quality and productivity improvements to equipment to reduce operating costs.

Data Compliance (10%)

  • Input necessary data in alignment with safety and maintenance programs.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical pneumatic/hydraulic plumbing and electrical systems.

  • Strong understanding of electrical theory including OHM’s law and troubleshooting up to 480 volts.

  • Proficiency in CNC/PLC control systems and robotics.

  • Fabrication skills: welding machining and assembly of brackets and structures.

  • Hands-on experience with creating and implementing preventative maintenance programs (PMs).

  • Ability to advise on equipment safety concerns.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Additional Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • At least 7+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to attain forklift certification.
