Cutting Technician – 2nd Shift
Shift: Monday – Friday 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay Range: $19/hour
Duration: Temp-to-hire
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Cutting Technician to join our 2nd shift team. This role is responsible for marking reproducing and assembling material kits as well as becoming proficient in Patternsmith and operating the Gerber Machine.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
?? Cloth laminating and bagging/consolidation
?? Sharpening cutting tools for optimal performance
?? Operating cutting and grinding equipment
?? Trimming excess material to meet specifications
?? Adapting to shifting priorities and meeting customer demand
?? Producing high-quality products with minimal material waste
?? Participating in internal training as required
?? Performing additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
? U.S. Person status required (due to export control regulations)
? High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
? 1-2 years of related experience
? Experience with Patternsmith (preferred)
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
? Comfortable standing for extended periods
? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
? Willingness to work mandatory weekends and overtime as needed
? Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint) & Adobe Acrobat
