Position Details

Duration: Approximately 3-6 months (likely closer to six but TBD)

Pay Rate: $41.25

Start Date: ASAP – virtual meet-and-greet interviews will be conducted first

Location: Primary office in Oceanside CA (may shift to a nearby location TBD)

Work Schedule: Onsite only no remote work | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Reports to: HR Director with a dotted-line report to the Sr. HR Business Partner
What Makes This Role Unique?
This role is ideal for a recruiter who understands the fundamentals of HR and enjoys tackling a variety of talent acquisition challenges. You'll play a key role in a major workforce transition project handling confidential information and making a direct impact on our hiring strategy.
What You’ll Do

Manage full-cycle recruitment to attract and retain top-tier talent

Lead the hiring effort for a major project involving the transition of 500 employees

Assist the HR team with recruitment planning and strategy

Organize and maintain employee files during the hiring process

Support new hire orientation including scheduling preparing materials and hosting select open house events

Ensure accurate recordkeeping of all recruitment documentation in compliance with federal state and local laws
What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field required

Experience: At least two years of recruiting experience

Bonus Points: Bilingual in English/Spanish and experience in transit or public sector hiring

Strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with NEOgov is a plus
